Accurate keying and smear-free screen
User: Susyn Stecchi, Nov 2, 2010
Pros: Keeps screen clean allows for accurate touchscreen keying and navigation
Cons: None, so far!
I am a new touchscreen user, and have been frustrated trying to key in letters accurately in my text messages and calendar entries, and with navigating through the phone screens (seems like my finger makes everything open that I dont want to open). With the Pogo Stylus, however, I am keying all my test in accurately yet still quickly, and confidently navigating through the screens, PLUS I dont make a smeary mess with my fingertips the screen is staying clean through all of this. The Pogo stylus has made using my touchscreen phone a joy! Like Id hoped it would be. (I dont have fat fingers, but it sure felt like I did!)

Best one Ive found
User: Michael Murphy, Dec 16, 2010
Pros: Sensitive touch, accurate placement
Cons: Just a bit thin for comfort
This is the best of several styli Ive tried. The screen reacts well to it, and it moves smoothly when dragging. Its good for sketching, and its accurate enough to draw decently, although I would prefer a more pointed tip. The barrel is a bit thin to hold comfortably, but I do have fairly large hands. Ive only had it for a couple of weeks, so I dont know how well the soft tip will hold up to heavy use, but so far it seems to be doing well.
All in all, its worth the price, and Id buy another if this one disappears.

Works Great on iPad and iPhone
User: Kevin B, May 12, 2010
Pros: Sturdy shaft, works as advertised, allows for better control of on-screen drawings, markups, etc.
Cons: Im worried the tip with rub off, a bit pricey, too short, easy to lose
I like the Pogo Sketch. If you are looking for a more detailed way to interact with your touchscreen, this is it.

There are better alternatives out there

I was frustrated with the Pogo stylus failure to work effectively about 1/3 of the time but used it until it actually fell apart on me. Then when we got new devices I definitely needed a new stylus so I checked reviews and settled on the very popular and more pen-like one from Boxwave. I got one for myself, one for my husband, and a couple of their mini ones, too. We both love them and use them for almost everything. Im using one to write this review and fine control as well as writing and sketching is superior. The larger pen-like ones are the same price as this at other online (and offline) stores, and the smaller ones are less. They even have little (removable) straps with a thing that clips into your headset jack so you dont lose it in your pocket or bag and they come in several colors. (They also have a model that integrates a nice ballpoint pen.) Weve been using ours for months and theyre still like new. All in all, after my experience with the Pogo, I recommend the Boxwave model to anyone considering a stylus for their Torch, iPhone, iPad, etc.
